RISE2030
RISE2030 provides green energy technologies to improve livelihoods in rural areas by mobilizing youth and women as catalysts for change through green entrepreneurship and job creation programs.
RISE2030 started as a community-led initiative focusing on women and youth empowerment, aiming at building capacity & improving living conditions of those living in deprived areas, through education, employment, and empowerment.
It is is currently managed by Sustain The World Org and Sustainable Empowerment for Youth International.
The project aims at empowering stakeholders in the water-energy-waste and food nexus by integrating the circular economy approach that considers the linkages between these sectors to achieve and sustain various social, economic, and environmental goals.

Our approach
RISE2030 is built on three major pillars: Empowerment, Equality, and Sustainability. Hence, Rise2030 launched the first all-women solar team in this cohort to challenge the gender stereotypes in the construction male-dominated sector.

QAROUN MATERIAL RECOVERY FACILITY INSTALLATION SOLARIZATIONRISE2030 community members were trained and educated to design and install an on-grid solar photovoltaic system that would cover 100% of the facility's daily need for power. Qaroun Material Recovery Facility is a model for sustainable facilities, reducing waste volume, promoting circular economy, and running on solar. This is powered by a community of newly-skilled labor of young women and men, ready to hit the solar market!

WEP - Women Economic Empowerment Project RISE2030 is leading the Renewable Energy training of 60 women in Tripoli, Akkar and Mount Lebanon. The project main goal is to increase local awareness and support to women’s rights, notably economic empowerment and right to decent work. It also aims to boost local recognition of women’s role in non-traditional economic development. |
